If you follow us on Twitter (if you don’t you really should! Here!) you may have seen that we were getting a little stressed trying to find the prefect outfit for a Black Tie Ball on Friday.
We’ve known about it for months, but with the excitement of Christmas and New Year, it had dropped down the priority list. That is until it got to mid-January and we realised we only had two weeks to find an outfit, and that seemingly every evening dress in the country had sold out from all the Xmas and NYE parties and weren’t being restocked until long after Cinderella had to go to the ball!
So with much grinding of teeth and some slightly raised blood-pressure, (Drama Queens us?) we settled on this combination:
We’re actually quite impressed, as despite running around the day before the do pulling the finishing touches together, we loved how it turned out, and we managed to very nearly stick to our £100 budget – thank you extended January Sales!
