This one has been done to death on the bloggersphere already but as I really like it I still wanted to share. This Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush came in March’s Glossybox, and it’s probably one of my favourite beauty box samples so far.
For those of you who love Chubby Sticks, you’ll love this! Unfortunately it only comes in two shades and I still can’t tell you which one this is for certain! It’s not written on the stick or the card in the Glossybox, and on the Jelly Pong Pong site the one that looks to be the same colour stick (Cranberry) is described as berry red, but the actual colour of the tint is closer to the other shade; Marshmallow Pink.
Other than that little discrepancy, I’m a real fan of this lip stain. It’s got a good amount of pigment, similar to the Chubby Stick Intense, and is still very hydrating which is probably down to the beeswax and ceresin wax ingredients. Leaving a light stain on the lips even when the initial moisture has rubbed away, this lasts for a couple of hours before it needs to be reapplied. Not that long, but for a moisturising balm formula it’s pretty good.
The thing that really swings it for me is the colour, its a light pink, but it doesn’t wash you out like some can and if you build it up it’s quite vivid, perfect for Spring/Summer.
